What does your bedtime say about you?

There are a lot of things in life that can reflect our personality, but did you know that your bedtime can say a lot about you too? Whether you’re getting a full 9 hours sleep or barely surviving on 4, it’s time to find out what your bedtime says about your personality.

7pm – 9pm

Hey grandma, is that you? You’re the ‘grandparent’ in your group of your friends, and are always deemed the responsible one. You probably offer to be the sober one at parties to drive everyone home, and you love a good cup of tea. You might be getting up early to workout, but chances are you just LOVE your sleep and can’t get enough of it. If you don't have a solid 10 hours sleep or more, you become cranky... fast!

9pm – 11pm

Hey you, you fit in the regular category! You’re healthy, work 9-5 and are probably in a long term relationship where you both get to bed on time. You’ve got a particularly comfortable mattress (probably a Koala) and you are one of those people with a lot of responsibilities who knows that they need at least 8 hours of sleep to function properly. You go, you!

11pm – 1am

We’re sorry to break the news to you, but you’re what we call an ‘in-betweener’. You’re not sleeping as early as your grandparents, but you’re also not up partying or gaming till the wee hours of the morning. You try to stay up and reluctantly jump into bed, but not before spending at least 30 minutes scrolling through Instagram or checking out the latest tweets from your favourite celeb. You love your coffee and can't survive without it.

1am-3am

Admiration. That’s it. You’re either committed to one of three things – yourself, work or Netflix. Whether it’s staying up till 3 to play one last game of LOL, or finishing the second last episode of Suits (season 5 of course), you’re happy to sacrifice your sleep for entertainment. Either that, or you’re a total work-a-holic who’s priorities are a little scrambled. Remember kids, you physically NEED at least 6 hours of sleep to be working productively.

3am+

You either work overnight, or you just don’t work at all. Either way, you’ve never been big on sleep and know that you’re most productive after midnight. You’ve probably gotten lost in viral cat vids on Youtube more than you’d care to admit, and you’ve watched every new Netflix doco at least twice. Your friends know you’ll be there 24/7 for them, and caffeine is your middle name.
